06 - 8 slices thick-cut bacon
07 - 4 large flour tortillas, 10-inch diameter
08 - 2 cups shredded romaine lettuce
09 - 2 medium tomatoes, thinly sliced
10 - 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
11 - 1 avocado, sliced (optional)
# Steps:
01 - Combine mayonnaise, minced chipotle peppers, lime juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Adjust chipotle quantity to preferred spiciness. Set aside.
02 - In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon slices until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
03 - Heat tortillas briefly in a dry skillet or microwave until soft and pliable.
04 - Spread approximately 2 tablespoons of chipotle mayo evenly over each tortilla. Layer shredded lettuce, tomato slices, red onion, and avocado (if using) along the center.
05 - Place 2 crispy bacon slices atop the vegetable layers. Fold the sides of each tortilla inward and roll tightly. Slice in half if desired and serve immediately.
