01 - 1 lb ground beef
02 - 1 can (14 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
03 - 2 tbsp taco seasoning mix
04 - 1 tbsp vegetable oil
→ Chips & Base
05 - 10 oz sturdy tortilla chips
→ Cheese
06 - 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
07 - 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
→ Toppings & Field Decorations
08 - ½ cup sour cream
09 - 2 ripe avocados, mashed
10 - ½ cup prepared salsa
11 - 1 cup chopped cherry tomatoes
12 - 1 small red bell pepper, diced
13 - ¼ cup sliced black olives
14 - 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
# Steps:
01 - Preheat oven to 400°F.
02 - Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
03 - Stir in taco seasoning with 2 tablespoons water; cook for 2 minutes. Add black beans and heat through for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat.
04 - Spread tortilla chips evenly on a large rimmed baking sheet or serving platter in a rectangular shape resembling a soccer field.
05 - Distribute the beef and bean mixture evenly over the chips. Sprinkle shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses over the top.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
07 - Allow to cool slightly; spread mashed avocados smoothly over the nachos to resemble a green field, leaving chip borders visible.
08 - Fill a piping or zip-top bag with sour cream, snip a small corner, and pipe field lines, goal boxes, and the center circle onto the guacamole surface.
09 - Decorate with diced red bell pepper for corner flags, black olives as players, and cherry tomatoes with cilantro as crowd accents. Serve immediately with salsa on the side.
