02 - 3 cups mini marshmallows

07 - 12 small star-shaped candies or yellow M&Ms

# Steps:

01 - Heat butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Add mini marshmallows and stir continuously until completely melted and smooth.
02 - Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in the vanilla extract and green food coloring until evenly combined and desired shade is achieved.
03 - Add Rice Krispies cereal to the marshmallow mixture and fold gently but thoroughly until all cereal is coated.
04 - Allow the mixture to rest for 1 to 2 minutes until it is warm but manageable for shaping.
05 - Grease your hands with nonstick spray or butter. Form the mixture into 12 cone-shaped trees.
06 - If desired, gently insert one pretzel stick into the base of each shaped tree to serve as a trunk.
07 - Adorn the trees with mini M&Ms or sprinkles as ornaments, pressing a star-shaped candy or yellow M&M atop each tree.
08 - Place the decorated trees on parchment paper and let them stand at room temperature for 15 to 20 minutes until firm.
